Is it Worth It?
Professional repairs are highly cost-effective, often costing around 10% of the original carpet value. For example, a cigarette burn repair might start from £60, compared to hundreds to replace a full room's carpet (roughly £350 - £600).

Booking Deposit:
We require a £40.00 deposit if:

• The total value of the job is over £150.00

• We're travelling over 20 miles to you (or the job location).

• You are booking as a third party (landlord, tradesman, housing agency etc)

• You have previously booked and cancelled your appointment giving less than 48 hours notice, as we would not have been able to fill your cancellation slot in time.

Whether you need a burn repair, pet damage repairs or any other form of damage repairing to your carpets, we will get your carpets looking as good as new quickly and affordably.

Repairs are a quick and affordable option, especially when the carpet is in good condition and does not require a complete replacement.

PATCH REPAIRS:
A patch repair involves cutting out and removing the damaged area.
A new, matching piece of carpet is inserted to the damaged area.
Burns and pets are the most common causes of damage requiring a patch. 
Patch repairs are glued from the back and to the existing carpet using a hot glue seaming tape, ensuring any movement in the carpet will not create a visible joint.

RE-THREADING:
Pulled threads usually occurs with loop pile carpets.
The thread is a continuous strip across the width of the carpet.
The most common cause of thread damage is cats clicking at the loops or vacuum damage - the vacuum can catch a loose thread and pull out a longer section - eventually snapping the thread.

RETUFTING: 
We can repair or re-tuft carpet burns and pet damage up to half an inch (13mm) in diameter. Anything larger would require a small patch.
Re-tufting involves removing the damaged tufts or fibres and cleaning the area and installing new tufts from your spare carpet.
If you don’t have any spare carpet or off-cuts, we can take enough tufts from the edge of the carpet where they are tucked behind the gripper rods.
We can then install the new tufts either by re-tufting or re-weaving as appropriate.
Using tufts or fibres from either an off-cut or from the edging of the room, we’re guaranteed an exact match and a quality repair.

PERMANENT SPILLS AND STAINS: 
A very common repair involves spilled paint. Emulsion paint is possible to remove depending how long the spill has been left. Gloss and solvent based paints are permanent.
Bleach is also an issue, but not as much now due to most modern carpets manufactured from man made materials and classed as bleach safe.
Wool and nylon carpets are mostly affected by bleach damage due to the fibres being dyed after the carpet manufacture process.
The best option for this type of repair is to patch repair.
This is done by cutting out the damaged carpet and inserting a matching piece.

Can you repair carpet burns?
Yes, burn marks can usually be repaired using a patching method that blends into the surrounding carpet.

Can you repair a doorway where my cat has been scratching?
Cat damage is probably the most common repair we carry out. Cats don't like closed doors and start to scratch and dig to get out.

I dropped the iron and it's burnt the carpet. Can you repair this?
Iron burns along with hair straighteners and hair tongs are popular causes of carpet damage. Yes we can repair all of these.

I don't have any spare carpet. Can you still carry out a repair?
We carry hundreds of offcuts. If we can't match your carpet, we can take a piece from under furniture or from a cupboard to use for the repair, we'll then patch in that section with a close match - you'll never know.

Will the repair be noticeable?
We aim for a near-invisible finish. In most cases, it’s very difficult to spot the repair once complete.
