Low Moisture Carpet Cleaning:

Carpets and Carpet Tiles

Commercial carpet cleaning using a very low moisture cleaning method known as encapsulation. This machine technology enables us to clean your office carpets with almost zero drying time and zero noise causing minimal disruption or downtime for office workers.

  • Fast drying times, allowing carpets to be walked on straight away.
  • Security doors don’t have to be left open to accommodate hoses.
  • Quiet machinery that can be utilised during regular business hours.
  • Areas can be cleaned in sections causing minimal disruption to your staff - unoccupied offices or stairsways for example.

This modern technique is a popular choice in any commercial environment due to the minimal noise, low or no disruption, minimal down time for staff and workers, quick drying time and overall fantastic results.

Low moisture cleaning has quickly become a popular method for cleaning carpets and hard floor surfaces.
It is a fairly new concept taking off in the last five years.

Low moisture carpet cleaning has a number of advantages:

  • The whole process uses a fraction of the amount of water compared to traditional hot water extraction carpet cleaning.

  • Low moisture means very short dry times. Carpets are usually completely dry within one to two hours.

  • Safe for all carpets, including wool and nylon where a risk of dye bleed can cause damage to delicate fibres.

  • This method reduces the risk of excessive damp, leading to mould and foisty smell issues, especially during the winter months or when the weather is humid.

  • Environmentally friendly and no harsh chemicals are used.

  •  Saving water is a big reason why it has become so popular.

  • This makes a big difference in helping our planet.

The Process of Low Moisture Cleaning.

Low moisture / quick dry carpet cleaning uses an encapsulation (encap) cleaning agent. It is also paired with other spotters that do not leave any residue.

The encap chemical is concentrated and diluted, usually with "tap hot" water before being applied to the carpet using a sprayer.

Various spotters are also used (when required) to remove specific staining - ie coffee, red wine, pet urine etc.

The encap solution works by attaching itself and surrounding the dirt and soil particles in the carpet, which then crystalise as it dries.

A rotary cleaning machine is used to agitate the encap using a pad.

A new pad is then fitted to the machine to lift the majority of the encapsulated dirt and soil.

The remaining encap will dry completely and is simply vacuumed out of the carpet during the regular cleaning regime.
In some instances, carpets can appear cleaner following two or three regular vacuums, this is due to the dried encap lifting any remaining dirt from deep the carpets.

TILE & GROUT CLEANING

We clean most types of tile including Porcelain, Ceramic, Victorian and Terracotta.

The tiles and grout are treated with a hard floor cleaner specific to the type of floor we are cleaning.

An oscillating or rotary machine fitted with the appropriate scrubbing / cleaning pad is used to break down the dirt on the tile and grout.
A specific grout cleaner may also be applied depending on the soiling and staining of the grout.

The remaining slurry is then removed using a powerful vacuum and then rinsed with a neutraliser.

To keep your tile and grout in best condition we recommend getting your tile and grout sealed.

Please note that cleaning methods can vary depending on the condition of the tiling, we will discuss any potential issues when booking.

Some of Your Q&A's

Tile and Grout Cleaning

Tiles and grout attract stubborn stains and can make any area look untidy.

No matter how carefully you maintain your business, it won’t look clean if your flooring is neglected.

In most cases, regular mopping won't remove the stubborn dirty marks that build up over time.

Specialist machinery is required to scrub the flooring, the cost of these machines usually makes it unviable for most businesses to invest in.

This is why professional cleaning is recommended. We have invested heavily in specific machinery to do the job correctly.

We use eco friendly cleaning products whenever possible that ensure the desired and lasting results.

All of the cleaning chemicals we use are 100% safe for children and pets!

Safety Floor Cleaning

Safety floors are slip-resistant, which makes this type of floor the ideal choice in different types of buildings and institutions including hospitals, GP surgeries, dental and medical facilities. Safety flooring is very popular in nursing and residential homes, where a higher level of slip resistance is required.

Over time safety floors can start to look tired and a build up of grime can reduce the slip-resistance.

Our cleaning services will remove all surface dirt while power scrubbing the texture of the floor, limiting build-up of dirt making your non-slip floor easier to maintain in future.

To maintain a non-slip safety floor that lasts a long time and looks great, manufacturers recommend regular dusting and sweeping with semi-regular professional cleaning.

You can decide how often to book a professional clean by considering how much the floor is used and how much footfall the floor receives.

Safety floors in commercial buildings with high foot traffic need to be cleaned frequently.
